Kevin Wignall is an author turned artist - under the simpler "K" label - who's building a considerable global audience through his YouTube channel. Although his work often takes the form of striking and thought-provoking mixed media canvases and panels, his art is conceptual in nature, and regularly deals with the tangential links between written and visual culture. His art practice began in earnest in 2023, but he has so far held back from selling his work, despite repeated offers - he's quoted as saying, "I'll know when I'm ready to enter the marketplace, but at the moment, I'm content to remain in a purely creative space, without any thought as to who might buy my work, or why. Naturally, I'd like to partner with galleries in due course, but it's not my primary goal right now."
